Common questions

Before you commit

What makes Wraft different from other document tools?
Wraft covers the entire document lifecycle: creation, signing, automation, and storage. It's open source, so you can self-host it and keep full control of your data. No vendor lock-in, no surprise pricing changes.
Can I self-host Wraft?
Yes. Wraft is fully self-hostable under the AGPLv3 license. Deploy it in your own environment and keep complete control over your data and infrastructure.
How does document generation work?
Write your content in Markdown. Wraft converts it to PDF and other formats using LaTeX or Typst for professional typesetting. You can trigger generation through the UI or via our REST API.
What integrations are available?
REST APIs for everything, Single Sign-On (SSO) for authentication, and webhooks for real-time event notifications. Connect Wraft with the tools your team already uses.
Is Wraft ready for production use?
Wraft is in active development with early access available. We are working closely with early adopters to refine the platform. Join now to shape the product alongside us.
